Cristuru Secuiesc is a small town  only 2 kms (1.2 miles) from the village. In the town you can find:

Historical and cultural spots:

- the Gyárfás mansion, where Sandor Petofi, the famous Hungarian poet spent his last night before the battle of Sigishoara. .
- a rich collection of local household items and the concise history of the region in pictures in the Folclore Museum.
- a Roman Catholic Church with wall paintings from the 15th century.
